Educated in law and economics at the University of Paris Pantheon Sorbonne and IEP Paris, Thibault started his career at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations where he worked as a money market fund manager before becoming head of financial engineering. Co-founder of Acofi in 1990 and managing partner, over the last twenty years Thibault has notably built up the direct real estate investment business, the listed equity division, and the acquisition of portfolios of underperforming bank debt through securitisation vehicles. In this last activity, Thibault managed acquisition and management teams. He was also co-founder and director of Credirec, a company created by Acofi in 1993 and which has become the French market leader in the collection and acquisition of consumer loan portfolios. He is also the Chairman of the Debt Fund and Securitisation Commission created by AFG and one of the founding members of the Observatoire des Fonds de Prêts à l’Economie (OFPE).
A graduate from ENSIMAG (Engineering), Laurent has a Master’s degree in Finance from HEC, Laurent has a 20 years’ experience in multi-asset structuring. Laurent was Group Structured Products manager at Credit Agricole between 1997 and 2009, developing and managing numerous new activities for the bank (structured loan fund derivatives, insurance derivatives, tax structuring).Between 1997 and 2010, he was heading the Structured Products and Alternative Assets department at Natixis (and predecessor bank IXIS). From 2002 onwards, he was a member of the Executive Committee of Global Capital Markets at Natixis. He set up a cross asset expertise group, including beyond capital markets, real estate, ART, HF incubation, etc… In 2004, he launched within Global Markets NAII a full fledge alternative asset management company encompassing infrastructure carbon and energy, direct lending, and a managed hedge funds platform with a particular focus on new managers and Asian managers (in partnership with SparxAM of Japan). He co-founded and joined Alfafinance in September 2010 as deputy CEO. After Acofi Alfafinance merger in 2014, Laurent became deputy CEO of Acofi.
A graduate from ENSAE (Statistics), holder of a Masters in Economics from Université de Paris Sorbonne, and a chartered actuary, He was global head of capital markets (bonds, currencies, equities and commodities) at Natixis until August 2008, having managed these operations previously at CDC and then IXIS where he served as an executive board member. The consulting company Alfafinance he co-founded in 2009 was more specifically involved in debt restructuring and advisory of major clients in banking and insurance sectors. Nicolas joined Acofi’s management team in 2014.
A graduate of ISFA, Yves began his actuarial career at Meeschaert, before joining Banque Internationale de Placement and then Banque ARJIL, where he was chairman of the management board. Yves Vlieghe has been a managing partner of Acofi since October 2013 and is Chairman of the investment committees of the Funds.
Marianne started her professional life at a consulting firm specialising in local authority funding. She joined Acofi in 1995 to develop financial expertise in real estate investment operations, before becoming Secretary General of ACOFI. In this role, Marianne manages all of the company’s support functions: finance, human resources management, information system, general administration.
Marianne has a DESS in Banking and Finance from the Paris – Sorbonne University.
Christophe Murciani is a seasoned real estate lending professional, with a 25-year track record in sourcing and structuring property finance transactions both in France and in other European countries. Between 1993 and 2008, Christophe has executed major real estate structured debt mandates, respectively with Société Générale, Natixis, and then Citigroup, where he was in charge of a 4-strong team originating deals in France, Benelux, and Italy. Thereafter with Tishman Speyer Properties, he ran the European finance team, prior to joining in 2011 the French side of Cityhold, a JV between 2 Swedish pension funds, to source and acquire prime office properties. As of 2013, Christophe spearheaded JLL’s Real Estate Debt Advisory group in Paris. With Acofi, he will be managing director for the property lending platform.
Christophe holds ESCP Europe’s MBA.
Benjamin Debré, has been active for 15 years both in the property industry and in international business development. Initially with HSBC’s bond origination group, Benjamin joined Lazard Frères’ M&A team in 2003. He moved to Citigroup’s structured property lending division in Paris in 2006. With Oberthur Fiduciaire, starting in 2011, Benjamin was responsible for business development, covering a client base of central banks and public entities in Africa, Latin America and Asia. He then joined Monument Capital Group as a Senior advisor in charge of fundraising with sovereign funds, domestic and international institutional investors. Benjamin returned to property structured finance in 2015 as a director with JLL’s debt advisory group in Paris, advising property companies, investment managers and institutional investors in their debt raising efforts. At Acofi Gestion, he will be a property lending fund manager.
Benjamin is a ESTP graduate, and holds an ESSEC MBA.
Dalila joined Acofi’s Real Estate Debt Fund team in august 2019 as a Fund Manager. During 15 years, she has been working in the property professionnals lending sector at Crédit Foncier. Dalila started her career as a credit analyst and subsequently held risk management and litigation positions. She then turned to trade functions in real estate investors financing structure. Dalila is a graduate from ISC Paris and Paris-Dauphine University.
Vincent joined Acofi in September 2018. He previously worked at UBS in Wealth Management before getting his first real estate experience at AEW Europe as an Asset Manager, where he was in charge of defining and implementing asset valuation strategy for 20 office assets based in Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux. In 2014, he moved to JLL, a leading professional services firm specialized in real estate and investment management. His role, as an Investment Analyst, is to advice and assist institutional investors in their process of acquiring and selling properties valued between € 20m and € 1bn.
Vincent is graduated from KEDGE Business School (master’s degree), IMPI (specialised master’s degree in Real Estate, and accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Solene joined Acofi’s Real Estate Debt Funds team in December 2019 as a Portfolio Manager. Previously, she has worked in the real estate lending sector at Société Générale. Solene started her career as a Chargée d’Affaires for real estate professionnals and key accounts and subsequently held risk management and agency role positions. Solene is a graduate from ESCEM School of Management (Sup de Co Tours).
Philippe began his career in 1996 as a project manager at Schlumberger. In 1999 Philippe joined the GDF-Suez group to develop the construction and operation of electrical infrastructure projects (Airbus 380 plant, Laboratoires Sanofi). Next he ran the INEO branches in Warsaw and Moscow. In 2008, he joined the Acofi group to develop its Infrastructure Financing business.
Philippe qualified as an engineer at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers, which he followed with a Masters degree in Banking and Financial Engineering.
Grégoire has eleven years’ experience in renewable energies project financing. He started his career in the Finance Department at TOTAL, joining Direct Energy in 2008 to work on the financing of renewable energies projects, and set up the Electricity and Gas market activities middle office and subsequently taking over responsibility for Neoen’s Financing activities. In 2011, he set up and ran Juwi AG’s Finance Department in France (German of wind & solar renewables developer). In 2012, he joined the Europe Solar Utility Fund as Chief Investment Officer, and then Acofi in April 2015.
Gregory is a graduate of Audencia in Nantes, and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from EADA Barcelona, Spain.
Camille joined Acofi’s Renewable Energy Infrastructures team in april 2018 after a 6-year experience as Head of the Strategy and Marketing Department within the spanish group Gas Natural Fenosa. She previously worked as a strategy consultant for Oliver Wyman Financial Services and co-founded in 2010 DS development, a strategy and banking disintermediation specialized in Africa. Camille holds a Master’s degree in international management from ESCP-EAP European School of Management, a Master’s degree from the City University of London and a Diplom Kauffrau from Berlin.
Claire joined AcofiI in January 2014. She participates in the analysis of investment cases. Prior to that, Claire’s first experience of asset management was at La Banque Postale Asset Management.
Claire is a graduate of Kedge Business School.
After gaining experience as a management controller at ERAMET in Paris and Gabon, Clément joined the structured finance department at CACIB. In 2012 he arrived at Deloitte Finance as a financial modelling and valuation analyst. Clément joined Acofi in 2016 to strengthen the infrastructure team, especially for valuing assets and funds.
He is a graduate of ESSEC.
Julian joined Acofi’s energy transition team in january 2020 after a 10-year experience at EDF. For the last 3 years, within its subsidiary Izivia, French leader in EV mobility charging stations, he subsequently occupied the role of Project Manager and Head of Street Charging Projects. He previously worked as a portfolio manager at EDF’s asset management division, investing for the decommissioning of nuclear assets, and as a quantitative analyst at EDF’s optimization division.
Julian holds an engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale Paris, a bachelor in economics from the University of Paris Dauphine and a MSc from the University of Oxford.
After a first experience in Equity research at Kepler Chevreux, Mathilde joined Acofi’s Renewables Energy Infrastructures team in february 2018. She participates in project analysis. Mathilde holds a Master’s degree in finance from NEOMA Business School and passed the 2nd level of the CFA program.
After his first professional years at Banque de France, Eric joined Banque BAFIP Group as secretary general, then deputy CEO. In 1992, he moved to Banque Colbert to run its “Business” department, and in 1995 was appointed CEO of Viking, a shipping company, which he list on the stock exchange. He founded a private equity company operating in the venture capital and LBO segments, which he sold in 2006. In 2006, he was appointed to the Management Board of OFIVALMO, and developed a solar infrastructure engineering and financing business. Eric joined Acofi in 2011.
Stanislas is a recognised expert on local authorities. In 2004, he founded Public Evaluation System, France’s first ratings agency specialising in local authorities, of which he was a Shareholder and CEO between 2004 and 2015. He was responsible for the Local Authority Budget and Accounting Management specialisation certificate at CNAM – INTEC. He was economics editor at ACIP, a press agency specialising in regional weekly press between 2002 and 2006, and Publication Director of the Money Laundering Letter. Stanislas is a graduate of HEC, has a DESS in export law (Paris V), a Master’s degree in Public Law (Paris II) and a postgraduate sessions examiner at IHEDN.
Wissem joined Acofi in 2014 after running the Galena Commodity Trade Finance fund at Galena Asset Management (Geneva) a Trafigura affiliate, from 2009 to 2013. From 2007 to 2009, he headed up loan fund structuring (commodity financing) at Natixis CIB. From 1992 to 2007, Wissem held various positions in the securitisation department at Société Générale CIB where he structured and arranged securitised trade receivables, mortgages and corporate loans. He was European head of CLO structuring and then, from 2003 to 2007, head of alternative financing structuring in the Structured Financing department. Wissem has an engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale in Paris, and a BSc in mathematics and an MBA from the San Diego State University (California).
Philippe started his career working at Arthur Andersen. After a year as financial controller at PPR, he moved to BNP Paribas in 1999 and then IXIS in 2005 to develop structured financing optimisation products for institutionals and large groups. He left Natixis in 2009 to work on designing and running Corporate Funding Association, a cooperative banking project in the eurozone. Philippe joined Acofi in 2014 to develop Reverse factor, Supply Chain, and patents finance activities and participates in leasing activities. He is an HEC graduate.
Delphine joined Acofi in 2016 to start trade receivables activities after a 15 year + experience in credit insurance and factoring. She started her career within AG2R La Mondiale, before joining GE Capital Factofrance commercial teams, and then insurance broker Filhet Allard & Cie. She came back to GE Capital Factofrance as a regional director.
Delphine is a graduate from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce IPAG with a major on international trade.
Alexia joined Acofi in 2013 and currently runs Predirec Equipment Leasing Fund. At PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Banks and Capital Markets division, Alexia carried out audit missions for four years, in particular on private banking and asset management clients. Prior to that, she worked in corporate finance for one year in the Finance and Merger & Acquisitions departments of Société Générale Mid-Caps Investment Banking.
Alexia is a graduate of EDHEC.
Théodore has started his career at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations then spent five years in the fixed-income department of Merrill Lynch where he was in charge of covering French institutional clients. Following that experience, he spent eleven years at Natixis where he specialized in alternative fund-linked structuring. More recently he held positions in asset allocation, as a private debt and listed bond-fund manager at Fonds de Réserve pour les Retraites, BPI France and Covéa Finance. Théodore holds a Master Degree in economics from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne and an MSc in financial engineering from Université Paris-Dauphine.
After having worked for two years as an analyst within the structured finance department of Credit Agricole CIB, Florent was underwriter in the aviation finance team of Bpifrance Assurance Export from 2013 to 2017. He then worked for Natixis General Inspection before joining Acofi in January 2019. Florent is a graduate of EM Lyon.
Arnaud joined Acofi in 2014 after working for Standard & Poor’s from 2010 as a member of the Leveraged Finance credit analysis team followed by Transport and Infrastructure corporate credit. Arnaud is a graduate of ESSEC and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Prior to joining Acofi in 2019, Manuel worked for 4 years at Accuracy, a financial advisory firm. During his time at Accuracy, he assisted both corporate and financial clients on multiple sell-side and buy-side transactions, valuation assignments, critical decision-making projects and legal disputes. His experience spans the industrial, services and retail sectors. Throughout his formative years, Manuel obtained significant experience on financial and strategic analysis at A. T. Kearney, LafargeHolcim and EDF. He is a graduate of HEC Paris.
Benoit joined Acofi in June 2016. He started in 2007 as a middle Office Manager and joined after 2 years and an half the trading desk of Société Générale as a sale and client relationship manager. Prior to join Acofi he succeed as an international Sales Director within Société Générale Securities Services. Benoit is a graduate of Clermont Ferrand Business School.
Alixane joined Acofi Sales’s team in January 2020. She previously worked as a Junior Sales at Natixis Investment Managers in Luxembourg for two years. She holds a Master Degree in Finance from Kedge Business School.
Pascal works with Acofi since October 2014 after 7 years at Dexia Local Credit. There he worked for the Capital Market divisions of the bank, in the Debt Capital Market and Public Sector Portfolio Management departments. Before Dexia, Pascal spent 14 years as Solution Sales in the Fixed Income department of the Investment Banking activities of “Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations” (Paris and Frankfurt). Pascal is graduate from the Société Française des Analystes Financiers, from ESLSCA Business School with a Master in Trading degree and from the University of Nancy II in Economic Sciences & Finance.
After working in the Interest Rate derivatives department at Société Générale from 1993 to 1996, Karine joined IXIS Corporate and Investment Bank in 1996 as a Risk Manager. Chief Operating Officer for an alternative asset manager subsidiary of IXIS in 2005, she was in charge of transaction structuring and execution at London-based incubator fund NAI Seeder until 2009. Karine joined Alfafinance in 2010 as financial director. Karine is a graduate of ESIAE.
Eric benefits from a 10-year experience in asset management gained within the Société Générale Securities Services teams. He joined the fund administration department in 2006 as an accountant and the custodian branch’s Private Equity and Real Estate Middle-Office in 2012. Eric is part of Acofi’s team since 2016.
Florence started her career as an accountant at Groupe CRI (pension fund) before joining in 2000 the Crédit Suisse Asset Management Middle Office team. Since 2009, she worked for Aberdeen Asset Management as a multi-strategy Middle Office Manager. Florence joined Acofi in 2019.
Léo joined Acofi in 2016. He started his career within the teams of Covéa-Finance, Société Générale Private Banking and Rothschild & Co where he was in charge of designing and implementing various optimization tools and solutions. Léo holds a diploma of Electronics and Information Technology Engineer (ENSEIRB-MATMECA) and a master’s degree in Economic and Financial Risks Engineering (Bordeaux University).
Béatrice de Meaux-Becdelievre has been Head of Legal and Compliance since July 2017. In her quality of Internal Control and Compliance Officer (RCCI) duly registered with the French Financial Market Authorities (Autorité des Marchés Financier), she reports to Acofi’s Executive Management. After acting as a lawyer in at French major lawfirm namely Gide Loyrette Nouel (in Paris and few years at Shanghai), she joined Société Générale in 2011 as Director – Lead Lawyer for the legal affairs of the Group Financial Department – Group Treasury and Financing Management. She is specialized in securitization, covered bonds and assets backed financings. She holds a post graduate degree (DEA) in private law. She has been a lecturer at Paris V in security law and at Paris-Dauphine (Master 2 – Assets management).
Formerly an advocate at the Bar of Hauts-de-Seine, Françoise joined Acofi in 2003. She handles legal administration and corporate matters for the companies and funds under management.
Françoise has a Master’s degree in business law and a DESS in applied taxation.
Eléonore has joined Acofi on december 2017 as Legal Counsel, after acting as a lawyer at French lawfirm namely Solwos Avocats for two years mainly in business law. Previously, Eléonore had been working for almost two years in the legal Department dedicated to CACEIS Fund Structuring Department, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Group.
Eléonore holds a post graduate degree (Master 2) in business law from the University of Lille.
Alain Grec is director and co-founder of Profile Investment and heads our quantum analysis division. Prior to founding PI in 2018 with Iain McKenny, Alain founded and led with Guy Lepage La Française International Claims Collection from 2009 to 2018, a third party funder with a core specialism in International arbitration and enforcement of investment treaty awards. Alain has held various positions within the banking group Natixis from which his deep knowledge of company financial analysis, middle term risk assessment and commercial transactions allowed him to hone his specialism in quantum analysis for disputes. Alain was Head of the German branch of Natixis (1994-2002), as well as Head of Development of its Corporate and Investment Financing bank between 2005 and 2009.
Since 2000, Alain is a “French Foreign Trade Advisor” (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur), a French Government organization meant to give it easy feed back from the international business community. He also lectures in various French university courses as they pertain to his specialisms in international arbitration, notably in Montpellier (D.U. Arbitrage) and Paris-Saclay (MACI M2) Universities and is a member of the DREx Talks (Dispute Resolution Experts Talks).
Alain’s mother tongue is French, he’s also fluent in English and German.
Iain is a director and co-founder of Profile Investment and heads our legal analysis division. Iain spent his formative years as a disputes lawyer with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and subsequently Latham & Watkins in London and Paris. Prior to founding PI in 2018 with Alain Grec, Iain was general counsel of disputes and subsequently managing director at Vannin Capital, another funder. Iain’s specialises as a lawyer in commercial and investment treaty arbitration across various sectors including construction, technology, finance and general commercial contracts.
Iain is a qualified England & Wales solicitor and registered foreign lawyer at the Paris bar. Additionally, he’s a proud founding member of the 2018 legal innovations GAR award winner – Delos Arbitration. Delos is an international arbitration institution specifically designed for small and medium sized businesses. In 2019, it opened its first hearing centre in London.
Iain’s mother tongue is English and he’s proficient in French.
Paulina is the head of the enforcement risk division and a senior member of our legal analysis team. Paulina is an attorney specialised in international trade, arbitration, contracts and collection of sovereign and commercial debts. From 2007 to 2009, Paulina worked in the collections and risk analysis division for a private company specialised in enforcement. Prior to joining Profile Investment, Paulina worked at La Française International Claims Collection as general counsel.
Paulina is dually qualified in France and Russia, having studied law at in Paris (France) and in Nijni Novgorod (Russia). She also studied political science in the US and European law in Amsterdam. Paulina is a qualified Paris attorney.
Paulina’s mother tongue is Russian. She is bilingual in French and fluent in English.
Joëlle is Profile Investment’s Office Manager. Joëlle oversees our middle office, finances, treasury, accountancy and regulatory requirements. Prior to joining PI, Joëlle worked at La Française International Claims Collection undertaking similar responsibilities.
Joëlle’s knowledge and experience in office management comes from the work she did for SPREC (Société pour le Recouvrement de Créances) from 1983 to 2001 where she led the sales administration team and then within Coface RBI, a company specialised in international debt collection.
Joëlle’s mother tongue is French and she’s proficient in English.
Vincent is a key member of our legal and enforcement analysis teams. Vincent is a qualified attorney having worked in international arbitration in both Paris and Geneva. Prior to joining Profile Investment, he worked with Paulina Touroude at La Française International Claims Collection as legal counsel from 2016 to 2018.
Vincent studied law, economics and international business in Paris, Washington, D.C. and Montreal and is qualified as an attorney in both New York State and Paris.
In addition to working at PI, Vincent teaches private international law, international arbitration and international economic law at Sorbonne Law School.
Vincent’s mother tongue is French and he’s fluent in English.
Andrea is a key member of Profile Investment’s legal analysis team. Prior to joining PI, Andrea worked as an international associate for White & Case in Washington, D.C. and Paris. Andrea also worked as an associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz in Colombia. Andrea specializes in international arbitration and cross border dispute resolution.
Andrea holds an LL.M in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University. She is a dually qualified Colombian and New York State lawyer.
Andrea’s mother tongue is Spanish, she’s also fluent in English and proficient in French.
