SRI / ESG

Acofi Gestion has chosen to integrate into its analysis process an approach committed to ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), in line with the investment philosophy that has underpinned Acofi’s management style from the very start.

Based on the conviction that non-financial analysis, particularly from an ESG perspective, is integral to determining the value of a company and measuring the sustainability of its revenues, this approach enriches the selection process and contributes to the robustness of the asset management process.

Acofi Gestion bases its investment process on convictions centred around reliable, objective and measurable criteria in order to concentrate its portfolios on companies and assets whose activity and governance appear clear, useful and sustainable, and whose price is reasonable. However, ESG criteria alone cannot rule out a company’s eligibility for a project to provide financing or capital support.

As a signatory of the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) of the United Nations (UNPRI), Acofi Gestion affirms its commitment to integrate ESG non-financial criteria into its management and to develop its businesses in accordance with the standards expected by our French and European partners.
Acofi is thus committed to implementing a continuous-improvement approach to ensure that ESG is taken into account throughout the life cycle of operations.

The 6 principles of the PRI:

1
We will incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
2
We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.
3
We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
4
We will promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.
5
We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
6
We will each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.

CSR approach

Acofi Gestion is committed to adopting a sustainable development approach by integrating Corporate Social Responsibility and ESG criteria into its investment strategy.

The asset management company does not systematically and simultaneously integrate criteria related to the quality of Environmental, Social and Governance factors into its investment choices. However, it is attentive to these topics in its analyses where information is available and relevant.
